Designing your Site

Let's face it. If visitors land on your site and the site is not attractive, they will leave and never join your site. However, most of our customers are entrepreneurs and business people, not web designers. This why we've spent a lot of time and effort to develop very easy to use but very powerful designer tools to help you design a very attractive site.

The core tools are:

Themes Selector
Navigation: superadmin, Site Designer, Select Themes
You can use this tool to select from our growing list of themes. Select a theme to immediately change the color, look and feel of your entire site. Every page in your site will be changed instantly with this theme. The admin page colors are never changed, only the user pages.

Homepage Designer
Navigation: superadmin, Site Designer, Design Homepage
This incredibly powerful tool allow you to design an exceptional and unique homepage for your site. You can add virtually any kind of content to your homepage with no code change. You simply point and click to add new blocks of content. For example, you can add 'Cool new people' to display the members on your site. Each time there are new members they will be displayed on the site. You can add photos, videos, Groups, Forums etc. These are content created by the users of the site and are referred to as user generated content. You can also add static content, including text, tags, photos, banners, youtube videos and other items.

Advanced CSS Designer
Navigation: superadmin, Site Designer, Advanced
If you are an HTML or CSS designer you can use this section to add code to the site homepage or the site internal pages. You can add code to the Header, Body, or Footer section of the HTML. For example, you can use this section to add favicons to headers, you can add Metatags, Google analytics code, javascript, background images etc. This is a very powerful tool but is really intended for experienced designers and developers.

Dynamic Menu
Navigation: superadmin, Configure, Dynamic Menu
Use this tool to add or remove items from your menu and your site. For example, you can remove the Jobs module from your menu bar if you do not want to have this feature. Or you can add a link to Ebay on your menu bar. When members click the menu item it will take them to the page that you have linked to.

Page Creator
Navigation: superadmin, Manage, Page Creator
You can create as many pages you want and add them to your site. We provide a full HTML editor to allow you to create pages with content, photos, videos, banners and any other type of information you would like. You can add embeded code, javascript or other code to this page. Once you have created the page you can then add the page link to your menu with the dynamic menu or you can add the link to your homepage with the Homepage Designer. You can also add the links to your header or footer with the Advanced CSS Designer. Pages you create can also link to other pages allowing you to create a completely different content infrastructure within your site.

Site Information
Navigation: superadmin, Site Information
Use this section to add copyright text, taglines, and upload your logo to the site. Logos and taglines are displayed on every page of the site and are sent in every email that leaves the site. Copyright text is displayed at the footer of every page of the site and in emails as well.
